Me
Welcome to Micaiah sells out. This is a blog not for the distribution of significant insights, nor is it an outlet for mad ramblings (see Twitter), rather this blog is just an exercise in developing communication skills. You are more than welcome to read and comment, but this blog is primarily for my own development in the ability to communicate well.
Here you will find weekly interviews with a wide range of people, reflections on Christian and secular issues, thoughts on homelessness in Sydney, book reviews and various other things ranging from the Tour de France to celebrating John Calvin’s 500th birthday!
This blog also has gift shop! But its not what you think… its full of presents that help poor communities as opposed to cool stuff for yourself! You can check it out here or by clicking the link at the top of every page! I heartily commend this to you! This is a great way to buy people presents, it is also a great way to give financially to the poor, as Jesus himself says, “it is more blessed to give than to receive”
The name Micaiah Sells Out comes from the story of Micaiah in the Bible, if you want to find out more about Micaiah, you can read the first ever post of this blog, or even better, read your bible: 1 Kings 22.
I’m a Christian, and I sum that up by using the words of Charles Wesley: “Amazing love how can it be, that Christ my God would die for me!” I am married to Liz – who is my better half in many many ways. I am studying at Sydney uni to be a social worker – whatever that means. I love the Tour de France and for the month of July while watching the Tour I forsake my other true love, sleep.
Enjoy and feel free to comment!
